Various road incidents in different provinces in the country occurred for the pas few days resulting to deaths of five individuals and injuries to thirteen others.

Half of a rider's body was left on the road after being hit by a van in Pamplona Camarines Sur. The rest of the body ended up near a pole. According to the Pamplona Police, the rider parked his motorcycle on the side of the road to sell “puto”.

As the van moved to the lane where the motorcycle was positioned, it collided with the victim. The victim was dragged a few meters and hit an electric pole. It was learned that the driver of the van fell asleep while driving.

On the other hand, the military truck fell into a ravine in New Bataan in Davao de Oro, killing three soldiers including an army man and two CAFGU. According to the police, the truck was going to the ground breaking of the farm-to-market road in that town. Upon reaching the uphill part of the road, the truck's engine suddenly died. The car stopped and slid until it went straight to the cliff. Six other people in the truck were injured.

In Calasiao Pangasinan a two-year-old dies while five others were injured after the victim’s father driving the tricycle overtook an didn’t notice the truck causing the head-on collision.

A Cessna 172 plane crashed into the waters off San Fernando City in La Union where two passengers were injured. According to the initial investigation, the pilot instructor and student pilot were conducting a flight test before the aircraft crashed.

The Marine Environmental Protection unit arrived immediately on the crash area and laid an oil spill boom to prevent possible oil spill from the plane to the sea according to the Coast Guard.
