STAR STUDDED PRIDE PH FESTIVAL 2024 IN QUEZON MEMORIAL CIRCLE
Members of LGBTQIA+ community gathered at Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City for the Pride Festival #LoveLaban2Everyone. Pride Expo, food and art market, and Pride Night celebration are among the highlights of the event.
Vice Ganda, Sassa Gurl, and Marina Summers are among the celebrity guests and performers, the organization has announced. The lineup will also include OPM hitmaker Juan Karlos and girl group BINI.

The 2024 event's theme is "fighting for everyone's equal rights to live," regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, and "creating a safe, supportive space for everyone involved."
On Saturday, 394 LGBTQIA+ individuals who were not allowed to march in gender-affirming clothing attended a different graduation ceremony in Quezon City Memorial Circle. "Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC" is one of the unique events to honor Quezon City's 85th anniversary and Pride Month, the Quezon City government announced on social media.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said that, “Our beloved city stands loud and proud alongside the LGBTQIA+ community,”. The city is committed to “creating a supportive environment where everyone can live freely and authentically.”
According to the QCPD, as of 1 p.m., attendees of the "Love Laban 2 Everyone Pride Festival" have reached 5,000. Pride PH said that 110,000 people attended the first Love Laban last year, making it the largest Pride gathering in Southeast Asia. It is expected that between 150,000 and 200,000 people will join in this year.
Meanwhile, due to the large number of people anticipated for the Pride PH Festival March and Float Parade on Saturday, June 22, motorists might expect severe traffic in the Quezon Memorial Circle and nearby roads. With this, motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
The Quezon City government announced in a notice that the event will begin at 3 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Beginning at Tomas Morato Avenue, the march will travel down Timog Avenue, Elliptical Road, and lastly the entrance gate to QMC-Commonwealth Avenue, and a satellite venue would be put up at Matalino Street.
Prior to this, the LGU of Quezon City announced that it will continue to run its free bus service till two in the morning. in order to accommodate festival attendees.
