SOME ROADS IN MANILA TO BE CLOSED FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR 2025

The Manila Police District-Public Information Office announced road closures in Metro Manila starting Tuesday night for the Chinese New Year celebration year 2025.
In an advisory, the agency said the following roads will not be passable to vehicles starting 9 p.m., January 28:
- Stretch of Quintin Paredes from P. Burgos Avenue to Dasmarinas Street;
- Jones Bridge;
- Plaza Cervantes;
- Binondo-Intramuros Bridge
Meanwhile, motorists coming from Reina Regente Street utilizing Juan Luna Street and intending to utilize southbound lane of Jones Bridge are advised to turn left to Plaza Lorenzo Ruiz, then turn right to Noberto Ty, turn right to Yuchengco Street, then turn left to Ongpin to point of destination.
Those coming from P. Burgos Avenue/Taft Avenue intending to utilize Jones Bridge shall go straight to McArthur Bridge or Quezon Bridge to point of destination.
Vehicles coming from Plaza Sta. Cruz utilizing Dasmariñas Street are advised to turn right to Quintin Paredes Street to point of destination.
Motorists from Magallanes Drive going to Binondo-Intramuros Bridge shall go straight to A. Soriano Avenue to Anda Circle to point of destination.
January 29, 2025 (Wednesday) was declared by the Malacañang as a Special (Non-Working) Day in celebration of the Chinese New Year in line with Proclamation No. 727, Series of 2024.
