On Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecast, cloudy skies and rains will prevail across the country due to multiple weather system.
The weather bureau said Visayas, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA would experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms because of the shear line. Pagasa described shear line as "a narrow corridor along which there is an abrupt change in the horizontal component of the wind."
Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains, Pagasa warned.
Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN will also have the same weather conditions due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will see cloudy skies with rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon. Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are possible in the rest of Luzon and Visayas.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
