RAINFALL WARNING MAY STILL PERSIST AREAS IN LUZON

Severe Tropical Storm Kristine is slowly moving away from Philippine landmass but will still bring rainfall over Luzon and the rest of the country based on the forecast of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In Zambales and Bataan Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning is issued which will experience rainfall between 7.5 millimeters (mm) and 15 mm within one hour and this will continue in the next two hours. Slight flooding, especially in low-lying areas, is possible. The public is also advised to continuously monitor weather conditions.
In Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, Rizal, Laguna and Quezon light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will be experienced. The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition.
Stormy weather condition for Friday will be over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon where there could be possible flooding or landslides due to heavy to intense rains and minor to moderate threat to lives and properties due to strong winds.
The rest of Luzon will experience rains with gusty winds where “Possible flooding or landslides due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains. Minimal to minor threat to lives and properties due to strong winds.”
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail in Visayas with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains. In Mindanao, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur.
