RAIN, BINI, HWASA, FOR MUSIC FEST; BINI BEST ASIA ACT NOMINEE IN MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS

The Nation’s Girl Group BINI is set to join iconic K-pop stars Rain and Hwasa of Mamamoo at a music festival in Manila this October. IAM WORLDWIDE will be celebrating its anniversary "HIS7ORY 7th ANNIVERSARY" event on October 20 at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

The event will celebrate the anniversary of a local multi-level marketing company with headliners BINI, South Korean singer-actor Rain, and Mamamoo singer Hwasa.

Furthermore, BINI continues to set new milestones with their recent nomination for the Best Asia Act at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs). 

BINI was confirmed to represent the Philippines in the category, and the lone Filipino act to be nominated.

“We’ve got some sweet news. BINI has just been nominated for MTV EMAs Best Asia Act,” MTV Asia announced. 

The eight-member group will be competing against four other nominees: K-pop girl group ILLIT (South Korea), singer-songwriter Mahalini (Indonesia), Masdo band (Malaysia), and J-pop girl group Sakurazaka46 (Japan). 

Fans can vote on MTV EMA’s official website that will run until November 06 this year, ten votes per day per account will be allowed. The winner will be decided through fan votes, awards night take place on November 10 (November 11 in the Philippines) at the Manchester, England United Kingdom, that will be broadcast live on MTV channels.

BINI debuted in June 2021 with the single “Born To Win.” The female octet is best known for their hit songs “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” “Karera,” “Lagi,” “I Feel Good,” “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” and “Cherry on Top,” to name a few.

The group is set to stage their Grand BINIverse concert at the Araneta Coliseum on November 16 and 17.
