The Philippine Embassy in Seoul South Korea and other international communities joined in the celebration of National Women’s Month this March.
In the Philippines, the celebration of National Women’s Month has become a platform to highlight the achievements of women and address the ongoing and evolving issue related to women’s empowerment and gender equality.
In the first flag ceremony of the National Women’s Month, Philippine Ambassador to the Republic pf Korea Theresa Dizon-De Vega emphasized the importance of an exclusive society that works together to uplift and empower women.
She encouraged the member of the Philippine embassy to continue the main work of providing quality services and programs to improve the lives of the Filipino migrant women community in Korea.
And ask for the support of men in the Philippine embassy in this cause because the use of gender equality and empowerment requires a joint approach.
Since this year also celebrates the 75th year relationship between the Philippines and Korea, the Philippine embassy is also preparing various activities that recognize the contributions of Filipino migrant women to Korean society and rely on the support of community in the success of these projects.
