PDEA LEAKS INVOLVING DIAMOND STAR, MARICEL SORIANO DENIES

"I don't know anything," that's what actress Maricel Soriano stand in relation to PDEA leaks or the document that was spread about the alleged drug dealing between her and President Bongbong Marcos in 2012. The actress also admitted that she is indeed the owner of condo unit that was supposed to be subject to drug surveillance.
For the first time, the Diamond star Maricel Soriano appeared in the hearing of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs. According to an informant, her name was written in the alleged leak of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) that is related to Soriano and President Bongbong Marcos who allegedly do drugs in a condo unit in Makati City.

Drug surveillance operations were supposed to be conducted in 2012, at the beginning of the hearing the actress admitted that she was nervous and afraid for the first time that she went to the Senate. But Chairman committee Senator Ronald Bato dela Rosa assured that Soriano will be comfortable.
Dela Rosa asked, "Of the documents that have gone viral involving your name, do you think there is truth in the said documents?"
"At first I didn't know about the documents, I only found out when they were shown to me. Although I don't read such things, I don't know anything," Soriano replied.
Dela Rosa: “Do you have a property in Rockwell? Do you own a Unit in Rizal Tower located at Rockwell Barangay Poblacion Makati City?”
Soriano: "Yes. Until 2012 I sold that, I'm not there anymore."
In 2012, Soriano sold the said unit and also the release of PDEA document surveillance plan. What’s not clear is what month the actress sold the condo unit. The rest of the content of the document is blurred and whether it was named after her when the PDEA pre-operation report was released in March 2012.
Soriano is said to she’s ready to show the deed of sale of the said condo unit. At the same time, Dela Rosa also brought up the 2011 controversy regarding the alleged cocaine use of the actress and mistreatment of her former maids. This issue has been going on for more than a decade and Soriano and his two maids took have settled the issue.
PDEA denied that there was such a document, saying that nothing like that was turned over. But Senator Dela Rosa is convinced that the document is authentic, so he will hold another hearing on May 30.
The credibility of the former PDEA agent is questionable, based on hearsay. No documentary evidence was presented at the hearing, no photographs, and no supporting documents. Everything that was discussed was based on what someone said, even the drug test by PBBM was mentioned even though it was not relevant to the investigation, according to Sen. Migz Zubiri.
