Self-proclaimed “Appointed Son of God” Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) seems to sexually abuse more women and young girls as the Philippine National Police (PNP) said that these victims reported to the police.
According to PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, new alarming details about Quiboloy’s activities were uncovered. PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said that some of the victims approached authorities while the police operation inside the KOJC compound in Davao was still ongoing.
“These courageous victims have spoken up, revealing their harrowing experiences. The abuse they endured shows an alarming pattern of manipulation and exploitation. These so-called ‘inner circle pastorals’ were particularly vulnerable, with victims as young as 12 years old. Their testimonies have been crucial in uncovering the full extent of Quiboloy’s alleged crimes,” Marbil said.
These additional victims were referred to as Quiboloy’s “pastorals” or his personal assistants that were allegedly abused, and their testimonies were crucial “uncovering the full extent of Quiboloy’s alleged crimes.”
"So we are documenting those complaints without revealing the identities of the possible victims. We are now in the process of documenting those additional complaints," Fajardo stated.
On Sunday, Apollo Quiboloy facing several charges, surrendered to the police and military together with four others to stop the “lawless violence” to in the KOJC compound. In the United States, Quiboloy also face conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children; sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion; conspiracy; and bulk cash smuggling.
“This is just the beginning. The PNP is thoroughly examining the evidence to ensure that we build a solid case against Quiboloy. We will leave no stone unturned in this pursuit of justice. No one will escape justice, especially those who prey on the vulnerable. These victims deserve their day in court, and we will make sure it happens,” Marbil emphasized.
