MIAA ANNOUNCED JULY 22 CANCELLED FLIGHTS DUE TO BAD WEATHER

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Monday July 22 the cancellation of some flights due to inclement weather. In an advisory, the airport authority said that the cancelled flights are due to “unfavorable weather conditions.”
The following flights have been cancelled:
Philippine Airline (PAL) Express (2P)
2P 2932/2933 Manila-Basco-Manila
2P 2014/2015 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila
Cebu Pacific (5J)
5J 504/505 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila
5J 506/507 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila
CebGo (DG)
DG 6031/6032 Manila-San Jose-Manila
DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasted that the Severe Tropical Storm Carina is forecast to steadily intensify over the next four days due to a favorable environment.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was raised on Batanes, Eastern portion of Cagayan, and Northeastern part of Isabela. A Yellow Rainfall Advisory was also raised due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon or Habagat bringing light to moderate rains. Flooding in flood-prone areas is possible.
Yellow Warning Level: Batangas, Cavite, Bataan, and Zambales. Light to moderate rains is expected in Tarlac, Pampanga, Metro Manila, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan and Quezon (Mulanay, San Andres, San Narciso, San Francisco, Catanauan, Buenavista).
