MERALCO ADVISORY: POWER INTERUPTIONS IN LUZON FROM JUNE 25-30

Several parts of Luzon will experience a power interruption from June 25 to June 30 according to Meralco’s advisory on its website. There will be a scheduled power maintenance in some parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, and Bulacan.

The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will conduct pole replacements, line reconductoring, installation of additional lightning protective devices, and relocation of facilities. Between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., affected areas in Malate and Paco in Metro Manila on June 25 are:

• Portion of Pedro Gil St. from Angel Linao St. to Singalong St. in Paco.
• Portion of Singalong St. from Remedios St. to Quirino Ave. in Malate.
• Portion of Pilar Hidalgo Lim St. from San Andres St. to near Remedios St. in Malate.
• Portion of Remedios Circle St. from Jorge Bocobo St. to Adriatico St. in Malate.
• Portion of Adriatico St. from Remedios St. to Adriatico Interior St. in Malate.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are the following:

• Portion of Remedios St. from Pilar Hidalgo Lim St. to near Jorge Bocobo St. in Malate.
• Portion of L. M. Guerrero St. from San Andres St. to near Gen. Malvar St. in Malate.
• Portion of Maria Orosa St. from Remedios St. to Julio Nakpil St. in Malate.

On the same day (June 25), Dasmariñas City in Cavite will also experience power outage between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. specifically in Woodtown Residences Subd. in Bgy. Langkaan I.

Meralco didn’t state the scheduled time of power maintenance in Western Bicutan at Taguig City from June 25 to 26. While in Malibay Pasay City, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Portion of B. Esteban St. from E. Flores St. to and including Marcela Marcelo, B. Mayor, Maligaya, Pag-Asa and Pagkakaisa Sts., a power outage will occue on June 26.

Meralco’s advisory also announced maintenance schedule in other parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, and Bulacan until June 30. Customers may check their online website if their area will be affected by the said maintenance.
