LOWER PRICES OF ‘RICE-FOR-ALL’ SOLD AT P43/KILO

The Department of Agriculture (DA) announced that they will start selling mixed local and imported well-milled rice at P43 per kilo under its Rice-for-All program at Kadiwa sa Pangulo sites in Luzon. This is lower than its previous price of P45 per kilo.
The lowering of price for the Rice for All will coincide with the expansion of the program, along with the P29 program, or the sale of aging but good quality rice stocks from the National Food Authority (NFA) to senior citizens, beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), persons with disabilities (PWDs), and solo parents.
