KOJC PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY, FINALLY GOT ARRESTED – PNP
After weeks of intensified manhunt operations, on Sunday evening the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. announced that Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has been arrested and was confirmed by the Philippine National Police (PNP).

According to PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo, Quiboloy and his four aides surrender in Davao City, the negotiation started around 1:30 p.m. when they were issued a 24-hour ultimatum to come out of one of the buildings inside the 30-hectare Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Buhangin District or the police will make their move.
At 5:30 p.m. they gave up and a military aircraft flew them out of Davao City at 6:30 p.m. and they landed at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City at 8:30 p.m. Around 9:10 p.m. they arrived at Camp Crame in Quezon City where the booking procedures started, including physical and medical examinations.
“I confirm that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his aides, Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada and Sylvia Cemañes, are here. It is a joint effort of the police and the military,” Fajardo stated.
Quiboloy’s legal counsel Atty. Israelito Torreon said that the Pastor decided to surrender to stop the "lawless violence" in the KOJC compound.
“Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy decided to surrender to the PNP/AFP because he does not want the lawless violence to continue to happen in the KOJC Compound. He could not bear to witness a second longer the sufferings that his flock was experiencing for many days,” Torreon said in a statement.
“Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy was actually waiting for positive results vis-a-vis the legal remedies that his lawyers opted to avail, hence, he was out of reach for a number of days. Even if he has the right to await the result of the legal remedies being resorted to by his lawyers, he decided to make the ultimate sacrifice by surrendering himself to the PNP and AFP,” he added.
Quiboloy is wanted in the United States (US) for sex trafficking, fraud and other crimes, as well as here in the Philippines he faces arrest warrants from the Senate for skipping its probe on alleged abuse in the KOJC and from two courts for child and sexual abuse and human trafficking charges.
