'HELLO, LOVE, AGAIN' FIRST FILIPINO FILM TO GROSS OVER P1 BILLION

Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ sequel movie, “Hello, Love, Again” made history as the first Filipino film to surpass P1 billion in global box office earnings, reaching P1.06 billion as of November 23, making "Hello, Love, Again" the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time.
The announcement was made on Friday night by ABS-CBN Films and Star Cinema.
"Maraming salamat to all of you who gave your love and support for our film. We truly have found our home in you, and we celebrate this success with you. 'Hello, Love, Again' is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time in just 10 DAYS! #HelloLoveAgain is playing in cinemas worldwide!" they wrote on their social media accounts.
It has surpassed the gross of “Rewind,” which earned a total P924 million during its theatrical run. “Rewind” is an offical Metro Manila Film Festival entry in 2023 and stars real-life couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera.
Over the weekend, Alden and Kathryn graced the red carpet of the Asian World Film Festival in California, where the 28-year-old actress was named Snow Leopard Rising Star during the Closing Night Awards Gala held at the Culver Theater.
“Hello, Love, Again” is the first-ever film collaboration between GMA-7’s GMA Pictures and ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema. Achieving the highest first-day gross of P85 million. It also attained the highest single-day ticket sales of P131 million on November 16.
It debuted at no. 8 in the US box-office Top 10, earning $2.4 million to achieve the biggest opening for a Filipino film in America.
"Hello, Love, Again" debuted in Philippine cinemas on November 13. It is showing in 1,100 cinemas in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
