FREEZE ORDER IN QUIBOLOY’S ASSETS; QUIBOLOY INSIDE KOJC COMPOUND-PNP

Founder of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) Pastor Apollo Quiboloy still haven’t found by the authorities, the Court of Appeals (CA) has ordered a 20-day freezing of bank accounts, real estate properties, motor vehicles, aircraft, and other assets.
After it found reasonable ground to believe that the bank accounts of Quiboloy are “linked to unlawful activities and predicate crimes” such as qualified human trafficking, sexual and child abuse, sex trafficking of children, fraud, conspiracy, marriage fraud, smuggling, and money laundering, among others.
The freezing order includes 10 bank accounts, seven real estate properties, five vehicles, one private plane, KJC Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI), KJC 47 bank accounts, 16 real properties, 16 vehicles of KJC, SMNI’s 17 bank accounts, five real estate properties, and 26 vehicles.
The order released by the CA freezes Quiboloy’s ability to escape Senator Risa Hontiveros hopes that the local entities can work with the foreign counterparts to stanch the flow of money to offshore accounts.
Furthermore, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said that the searching inside the 30-hectare KOJC may take days to find wanted Pastor Quiboloy who is believed to be hiding in there. Tunnels were also reported inside the compound in Davao City were said to be an “open secret.”
According to the PNP, the indicators and informants are telling them that Quiboloy was just inside, that's why his followers were guarding the compound for him. “All the indicators show he was really there. That's why authorities attempted to serve him an arrest warrant last June 10 because he was there.”
"We appeal to Pastor Quiboloy to spare supporters. This is not a battle between the PNP and all government agencies against the KOJC. This is an implementation of a legal order issued by the court to a particular person, not to their organization,” the PNP said.
Authorities said that they are closely monitoring the movement of Quiboloy’s assets. The P10 million reward will still be given to anyone with information leading to the arrest of Quiboloy according to the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
