The new airport bus route from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to Imus, Cavite was launched in time for the influx of passengers this Christmas. The 34-seater premium aircon bus has a special rate of P150 for OFWs and a regular rate of P300 per way.
In partnership of UBE Express with the city government of Imus and The District Imus, Cavite’s first premium point-to-point (P2P) bus service from Imus to all terminals of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was launched at The District Imus, Along Aguinaldo Highway, Barangay Anabu II-D.
According to Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Administrator Arnell Ignacio, the said P2P Buses will benefit overseas Filipino workers and the local tourists with the special rates offered.
“In the past, OFWs did not know which bus to take when they got out of the airport. They would be victimized by opportunistic drivers. They are charged P2,500 just going to the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange,” Ignacio said.
These kinds of bus were used inside the airport that take passengers to airplanes. The fare is P300 but overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) can get a 50% discount.
“The said buses with route at Terminal 1, 2, 3 and 4 and District Mall here in Cavite with the first trip starting from NAIA at 3:30 in the morning, with 8 trips a day with an initial 8 units bus will run the said program,” Garrie David, UBE Express President said.
