FIRE IN TONDO MANILA RAISED TO TASK FORCE BRAVO ALARM LEVEL

A huge fire broke out in a residential area along Road 10 in Vitas, Tondo, Manila on Saturday. The fire started past 11 a.m. and quickly spread as most of the houses were made of light materials. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has raised Task Force Alpha, then Task Force Bravo on Saturday afternoon.
Task Force Bravo alarm level needed 28 Fire Trucks to respond, Ambulances, tankers and pumpers from Philippine Red Cross and Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office are also on the ground to offer assistance.
The Philippine Air Force 505th Search and Rescue Group has also sent a helicopter with Bambi bucket for aerial firefighting operations.
Motorists are advised to take alternate route as heavy traffic is experienced in the area. As of the writing, firefighters are still trying to put the massive fire out that become difficult due to strong winds.
The BFP has not given information yet on the cause of the fire, the damages, and if there were injuries reported.
