FIRE ENGULFED HOUSES AND ESTABLISHMENTS IN DIFFERENT PROVINCES

Successive fires were recorded in different parts of the country. This includes the fire that occurred at a school where a man was trapped inside the burning building of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros Manila.
The window of the building had to be used with a grinder to get the man out. Based on the investigation, the fire started in the mezzanine of the College library. It only took five minutes to put out the fire, but the class was still suspended because of it; no one was hurt in the fire.
While five establishments in Numancia Aklan were also burned, including a Japanese surplus store, an office, a furniture store, and a motorcycle shop. The warehouse at the back of the building, was also affected by the fire that is all owned by the same businessman.
The fire lasted for more than two hours, no one was hurt but the property was worth more than P43 million, the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
Faulty electrical wiring is said to be the cause of the fire in an old house and its adjacent rental building in Liangga Surigao del Sur. The amount of damage in the fire will reach P1 million and no one was hurt.
Raging fire engulfed the residents of barangay Old Balara Quezon City. Before the fire occurred, some residents reportedly smelled burning rice. The fire lasted for more than half an hour before it was finally extinguished. No one was hurt but 30 families lost their homes. The cause of the fire and the total cost of the damage are still being investigated.
Still in Quezon City, four tenants were trapped after three rental buildings caught fire in barangay Bagong Pag-asa. Those trapped were immediately rescued and it took an hour to put out the fire. It is still known what its mission is and how it started.
