A fire broke out in a residential area in Sevilla Street Barangay Parang Marikina City past 5 o’clock this morning. Based on the information from the Bureau of Fire Protection or BFP, it only reached the first alarm.
The fire was immediately declared under control after more than ten minutes at exactly 5:45 in the morning. The fire was declared fire out past 6 a.m. and there is no information yet on the origin of the fire and the extent of the damage.
On Friday afternoon, an amount of P3.7 million was damaged or lost in a massive fire in Santa Cruz Manila. Five individuals were recorded as having minor health complications, according to the report that the blaze at Tomas Mapua corner Lope de Vega has almost zero visibility.
Residents were able to save some belongings while evacuating while others only saved their lives. The houses' wooden exteriors and the high winds caused the fire to spread swiftly.
For the safety of over one hundred kids, sessions at a nearby maritime school were suspended due to the intensity of the fire and dense smoke that rendered the region nearly completely invisible.
The fire was raised to the second alarm by BFP a few minutes later, no one was killed but some were injured and had health issues. Fire out was declared around six in the afternoon.
