The row of Pedro Gil in Paco Manila was covered in thick smoke due to the fire on Saturday night. The fire engulfed stores filled with appliances, clothes, footwear, and household items. The fire reached the fifth alarm where at least 20 fire trucks were required to respond.

According to the BFP Manila, a fire volunteer was injured, some vendors and renters were scared and worried because of what happened to their places, some of them were unable to save things from the fire.

Due to the high intensity of the fire, the Paco Catholic School building was also affected, the fourth to sixth floors of the school were the most affected by the fire. Less than 10 minutes later, the school building was engulfed in flames, according to the OIC of the school, the school announced that it will hold online classes first while waiting for the further announcement.

BFP Manila said they had a hard time controlling the fire because it was made of light materials and some LPGs were still exploding. The fire was extinguished around 1 a.m. and the damage amounted to P1.6 million.

Meanwhile, the under-construction part of the Philippine General Hospital was also burned down at past eleven o'clock this Saturday night. More than 100 patients had to be evacuated to the emergency room. According to the BFP, the fire was only small and only smoke was spreading, so they had to evacuate.

It added that the fire started outside the hallway and not inside the emergency room. No patients were injured and they went back inside after the smoke cleared.

Past 4 a.m. Monday morning a fire hits in the residential area of Barangay Rosario in Pasig City, the fire reached the third alarm where 12 fire trucks needed to respond. The fire was able to put under control by the BFP before 6 a.m.
