On Saturday March 09, 2024, the British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran held his ‘Mathematics’ tour at the SMDC Festival Grounds. Welcoming on his return, the Filipino fandom was “the most crazy fun gig” recalling in 205 Ed Sheeran’s concert.

While in the Philippines, Ed makes sure to try Filipino foods, the traditional karaoke machine, and to meet the amazing Pinoy pride ‘Ben&Ben’. 

On his Instagram, Ed posted a video of him trying and singing some songs on a portable karaoke machine backstage together with his special guests on his concert, Ben&Ben and Calum Scott.

“Karaoke is a huge thing here in the Philippines, so I found a portable machine to wheel around backstage before the show tonight in Manila”, written in his caption. 

Ben&Ben, on the other hand, expressed how grateful and happy they were meeting Ed Sheeran and singing with them on his iconic round stage. Together with the band’s frontmen and Ed Sheeran, they performed ‘Maybe the Night’.

Also, the Asia’s Best Female Chef of 2016, Margarita Fores, shared on her Instagram a photo of her together with the singer-songwriter. They feasted on Filipino foods at Steak and Frice, the newest restaurant of Margarita’s son Amado.
