It is expected that there will be more people going to the public swimming pool, which should be cleaned regularly. Now that swimming and summer outings are often, be careful because you can get diseases and infections from dirty water.
The Department of Health (DOH) reminds the public to be careful because you might get diseases and infections from dirty water. If the water is vague, the DOH advises not to paddle or wade in order to avoid the possibility of bacterial infection or skin diseases.
DOH Asec. Lyndon Lee Suy said, "The primary problem here is that there is contact with our skin, so there can be rashes or infections; stomach ache or defecation if the water we swallowed is too dirty."
DOH advice, after swimming in public swimming pools, take a shower again and use soap. In inflatable pools, experts say avoid bringing together different families to prevent the spread of germs. Owners are also advised to regularly clean swimming pools and use chlorine. If anyone sees a dirty public pool, immediately report it to the DOH.
According to Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa, "You get bacterial infections, skin disease, when the child accidentally drinks water what we can do is test the water if they are really doing the chlorination and treatment of the water for the safety of the public."
