DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES RESCUED IN POGO TARLAC
The authorities closed the compound of Sun Yuan Technology Inc. in Bamban Tarlac, the compound was raided by the cooperatives with a search warrant due to complaints of human trafficking and serious illegal detention.
The operation started when a Vietnamese escape, the area is vast and has 36 tall buildings. Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) rescued 1000 POGO workers including Filipino, Chinese, Malaysian, Taiwanese, and a Vietnamese who was allegedly tortured when not complying with the scam and when the work quota was not reached.

According to USec. Gilbert Cruz, it was requested to rescue the Malaysian in the POGO who is a victim of torture, abuse and physical injuries. The Malaysian victim was immediately seen and is now in the care of PNP and with the coordination of the Malaysian embassy.
But the Vietnamese who were being rescued by their fellow countrymen who had escaped, could not be seen in the compound. Other Vietnamese nationals are being sought according to the prime witness, there are several Vietnamese nationals there who may have been transferred or sold to other POGO establishments.
According to PAOCC, cryptocurrency scam and love scam is the illegal operation of Sun Yuan company which started operating a year ago. But it is registered in PAGCor as the 105th POGO company in the country.
The Bureau of Immigration is now checking if the documents of the rescued foreigners are legal. It will take a few more days for PAOCC to complete the inventory of people and equipment at the raided POGO hub but charges will be filed against Chinese operators.
