DELAYED FLIGHTS AFTER CEBU PACIFIC PLANE GOT STUCK ON NAIA TAXIWAY

Friday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), a Cebu Pacific aircraft got stuck on the grassy portion of the taxiway causing ramp congestion according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
The Cebu Pacific Air A-321 doesn’t have passengers or crew onboard when it was repositioning from Bay 111 to Bay 12A of NAIA Terminal 3 when it veered onto the grassy portion of the Golf 13 runway. No fatalities or injuries was reported according to MIAA.
Due to the incident, parking Bays 110 to 112 are temporarily unavailable, leaving only three parking bays that can be used by wide-body aircraft. The MIAA said that the aircraft recovery team is already working on the removal of the aircraft from the area.
The incident also caused delayed flight schedules to the passengers and affected passengers should wait for airline announcements regarding revised timings.

Cebu Pacific expressed its apology for the inconvenience, "This situation is causing ramp congestion and subsequent delays in our operations. Our team is actively working to resolve this issue promptly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding."
