CAVITEX TOLL COLLECTION RESUMES ON JULY 31

For motorists passing through the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX) in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, and Kawit, tolls will be charged on roads starting today, July 31 (Wednesday).
According to CAVITEX Motorist Advisory, “Ka Drayberks! CAVITEX will resume toll collection starting July 31, 2024. Make sure to reload prior to your travel to ensure sufficient balance for seamless travel for you and fellow expressway users.”
While the CAVITEX C5 Link Sucat Interchange will remain toll-free for a limited time.
“The use of CAVITEX C5 Link Sucat Interchange is still free for a limited time. The only thing you will pay is to use the CAVITEX Parañaque Segment (Seaside to Zapote) if you use the Sucat Interchange,” it added.
P17 is charged for Class 1 vehicles including cars, vans and jeeps. The toll is P35 for Class 2 vehicles such as buses, and P52 for Class 3 vehicles such as trailer trucks.
It can be remembered that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that the Toll Regulatory Board the Philippine Reclamation Authority’s recommendation to suspend toll collection at CAVITEX for a month, from July 1 to 31, 2024, “for the benefit of the riding and the transport public."
