Six people on board a tricycle traveling to Albay province were killed after a truck collided in Lopez Quezon, a bus was also involved in the accident. The vehicles that were involved in the car crash were blazing when some motorcyclists saw it in Brgy. Canda Ilaya in Lopez Quezon this Wednesday.

Based on the investigation, the tricycle and bus stopped to give way to other motorists when they were hit by a truck from behind. Only one lane was used to pass through the area because the other road was being repaired. The gasoline load of the tricycle caught fire causing some of its riders to get trapped.

Four of the passengers died on the spot while two died during treatment. Three other individuals were injured and are recovering in the hospital. No one was injured in the bus and closed van.

The police have arrested the driver of the truck, he said the road was downhill and the truck's brakes did not work so he collided with two vehicles. The driver of the truck will face a complaint of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide, serious physical injuries, and damage to property.

In the other accident, a jeepney crashed into the concrete barriers lined up in Quezon City, the driver said different reasons why he crashed. The front of the passenger jeep was flattened at the corner of EDSA and Congressional Avenue.

With the strong force of the impact, the two concrete barriers bounced off. According to a rider who saw the incident, the jeepney was going fast before it crashed. According to the driver, he avoided a motorcycle, but he told the responding barangay people otherwise, that he lost control of the jeep.

No one was hurt in the accident while the driver of the jeepney faced reckless imprudence resulting in damage to public property.
