BEN&BEN AND SB19’S YOUTUBE ACCOUNTS GETS HACKED

On Monday, the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) folk pop band Ben&Ben and supergroup "Kings of P-pop" SB19 released on social media that their YouTube channels have been hacked. 

The Ben&Ben band posted the unfortunate news on Facebook. "Hello. Our YouTube channel has been hacked. Our team is working on fixing things ASAP. We'll keep you updated, Liwanag." 

On their update the band said that, "Our team has restored and recovered a significant part of our YouTube channel from the hijackers. However, we are still waiting on the response of our partners in addressing this matter, specifically for the Ben&Ben YouTube channel's Home page. As of this moment, the Home page is still live streaming content by the hijacking party. Nonetheless, we are doing our best to resolve this immediately. Thank you for your patience and support, Liwanag." 

Ben&Ben's YouTube account showed a cryptocurrency-related video, while their past music videos and vlogs remain visible on the channel.

Meanwhile, the 1Z Entertainment SB19’s company released a statement and confirmed that the group's YouTube channel has been compromised.

SB19 has over 3.6 million subscribers on its YouTube channel @officialSB19.

"We regret to inform you that SB19's official YouTube account was recently compromised. We took immediate action to address the incident, and rest assured that it is now under control. Our team has reported the incident to the relevant authorities involved to prevent similar occurrences in the future. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the safety and security of our online platforms. Thank you for your continued support," the statement read.
