Dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo's sister, Sheila Guo, and business partner, Cassandra Li Ong, have arrived in the Philippines from Indonesia, where they were caught by the authorities. The companions of Alice Guo exited the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 five in the afternoon this Thursday,

Cassandra Ong, the alleged incorporator of Luck South 99, operates and the representative of illegal POGO in Porac Pampanga. Cassandra Ong and Sheila Guo were taken to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) before being taken to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

The two were caught at the Megamall in Batam Center Riau Indonesia on August 20, Sheila and Cassandra are said to have entered Jakarta with Mayor Alice Guo based on the intelligence data sharing of the Philippines with other countries. It is said that the three were on a cruise ship when they arrived in Jakarta.

Based on the information obtained by the Philippine Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), Alice Guo took a ferry from Singapore to Indonesia. According to BI, Indonesia authorities investigated the group's whereabouts after receiving a report from Philippine authorities.

The BI also discovered that a male Singaporean national allegedly assisted four persons in booking their stay in Indonesia including Guo’s brother Wesley. Sheila Guo and Ong were about leave Batam Island when Indonesian investigation team from the Directorate of Wasdakim intercepted them and initiated their return to the Philippines.

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Sheila Go was arrested for violating the immigration law and Cassandra Ong was arrested for obstruction of justice and violation of the passport act.

Meanwhile, the BI said that Alice Guo is still in Indonesia. “Our counterpart confirmed that she is still in Indonesia. Former mayor Alice Guo has not yet made any attempts to move or transfer to another country.”

Authorities previously said that Guo left the Philippines as early as July 18 that possibly exited the Philippines through Sabah, Malaysia and did not go through formal airports and seaports. “Possibly through illegal means, so they did not go through the usual immigration process.”
