ALICE GUO’S BODY DOUBLE OR ‘DOPPELGANGER’ APPEARED IN NBI

Former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo’s allegedly body double or “doppelganger” went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office in Quezon City named Catherine Salazar. Catherine wearing a light green shirt, a face mask, a pair of eyeglasses, and had black hair up to her lower back that looks exactly like Alice Guo. 

NBI assistant director for investigation service recently ask Guo if she’s the on the showed photo, and Guo said that she’s part of her staffs. 

Magno said, "She will be able to help in the investigation we are doing, particularly in our backtracking, if the allegation that Mayor Alice is using a double is true, we will be able to prove whether it is true or not.

Meanwhile, Guo is facing qualified trafficking in persons charges that state prosecutors are set to file next week. Department of Justice (DOJ) Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty said a resolution authorizes the filing of qualified human trafficking charges before the Capaz, Tarlac regional trial court (RTC) because of “prima facie evidence of reasonable certainty of conviction” found during their preliminary investigation.

“The preliminary investigation ruled that there’s prima facie evidence for qualified human trafficking in persons against Mayor Guo. The information was established and we will file this information before the court next week,” Ty stated.

“We thank the prosecution panel who worked hard during the preliminary investigation. This case is very complicated. As you notice, the resolution is extremely thick and it has so many details,” the DOJ official added.

The involvement of the said Chinese incorporators are liable as they played a part in enabling organized criminal acts in the Bamban POGO hub according to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission spokesperson Winston Casio.

"Remember these people we brought with AMLC, Huang Zhiyang, Zhang Ruijin, Baoying Lin, these are people who are notorious for scamming and money laundering. Again, the crimes that are allegedly committed by Alice Guo would not have happened if these people did not enable her through their finances. It is very important to prosecute them as well," he said.
