7 DAYS OF HOLY WEEK HAS BEGAN
On March 24, the start of Holy Week began with Palm Sunday that commemorates Jesus Christ’s triumphant, where Catholics waiving palaspas or palm fronds for blessing during mass at different churches nationwide.

In marking the start of Holy Week, President Marcos joined Filipino Catholics by reminding the faithful spending the religious occasion by the essence of selflessness and kindness for others.
In the Philippine Statistics Authority 2020 Census of Population and Housing, Filipinos that’s Roman Catholic are more than 85 million representing 78.8 percent of the over 108 million people.
Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula said that the Holy Week is a special time for Catholics to return to Jesus Christ, cry for repentance and live a renewed life, in his homily at the Manila Cathedral on Palm Sunday.
According to Archdiocese of Manila vice general Fr. Reginald Malicdem, for Catholics posting content on social media, there is no problem as long as they dedicate time for prayer.
Meanwhile, Immigration officials are alerting the public about con artists and internet fraudsters who run phony websites and demand money in order to register for eTravel. Also, during Holy Week, oil firms have been asked to help drivers on important roads, tollways, and national highways.
