11 KILLED IN A COLLISION OF A PICKUP TRUCK AND BUS IN CAGAYAN

A collision between a pickup truck and a bus killed 11 people from Abulug, Cagayan. The CCTV footage showed the pickup truck being hit by a bus crossing the intersection on the national highway of Barangay Ayaga.

In the video footage authorities, the pickup vehicle was heading straight. Instead of going right to Tuguegarao, it went straight and suddenly exited to the main highway. The bus was already coming. It happened at the intersection.

The pickup was dragged a few meters, and the car headed straight for the shops located on the side of the road. The victims in the pickup were thrown and scattered on the road, some victims were still lying on some stalls of the store.

Due to the force of the impact, the pickup truck was crushed and the front part of the bus was cracked which collided with a wall. 

11 individuals were killed, while the bus driver suffered broken feet bones and the conductor and several passengers were injured. The only survivors of the pick-up were the driver and two girls, who are now in the hospital in Abulug. 

According to the Abulug Police, the pickup riders go to a wake in Apayao and were on their way home to the town of Allacapan. The bus came from Baguio and was going to Santa Ana Cagayan. According to the police, they can see that both the pickup and bus has a fault on the incident.

The bus driver is now under hospital arrest and will face a complaint of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and damage to property.

A man gone wild in Morong Rizal, when he arrived at the precinct he ran away and stole the police mobile as well as a plow in which three were killed. The suspect, who is said to have a mental problem, escaped, and was immediately chased by the police.

The suspect was narrating 500 meters away, in the middle of the chase, he collided with several tricycles and motorcycles. At least three are dead while five are seriously injured.
