‘PERAPHY’ CONTESTANT ‘STRANGE’ BEHAVIOR GOES VIRAL

The noontime show “Eat Bulaga” has recently gone viral for its contestant on the show’s “Peraphy” segment showing “inappropriate” behavior on air, leaving the hosts and audience confused. Social media users have talked about it, commented, and criticized what happened.
On August 07 during the “Peraphy” segment, a contestant chosen from the audience played the game when it suddenly acts some “strange” behavior in the middle of the show and unexpectedly walked toward “Singer Queen” Anne and tried to hug her.
Segment hosts Vic Sotto, Miles Ocampo, and Ryzza Mae Dizon immediately approach the contestant and asked if he is alright as the contestant shake his body showing some nervousness. The show asked for medic to attend the contestant.
The said contestant then explained himself and posted on Facebook on what happened. And for people to stop judging him.
“Sa mga netizens na nag nag-comment sa mga post ko, hindi po ang TVJ Eat Bulaga ang sinasabihan ko ng walang respeto. Nagpapasalamat pa po ako sa kanila dahil inasikaso po nila ako backstage, at ibinigay ng buo ang akin pong napanalunan. Araw-araw ko po silang pinapanood at sinusuportahan,” Angelito said.
“Ang tinutukoy ko pong walang respeto ay ang mga taong nag-judge sa akin kung bakit ko nagawa ang lahat ng 'yan lalo na po kay SQ Ann. FYI lang po, ako ay may Seizure Disorder at matagal na po akong under medication. Pasensya na po kayong lahat at marami pong salamat sa mga taong nakaunawa po sa aking kalagayan. Ingat po tayong lahat," he added.
The management of the noontime show said on the matter that the contestant felt extreme “nervousness” which led him to become “disoriented” during the game. The hosts of “Eat Bulaga” then reminded their audience to let the management know whenever they feel something odd so the medic can attend to them.
