What sells newspapers?
Journalists have an obligation to be objective and to report information that’s important to us. Regardless of this role as “watchdog”, the media must also pay attention to the economics of their private enterprise. Especially since the advent of the internet, which how more and more people get their news. Newspapers are struggling to remain in business, and have to take that into account when they consider what to print.
Why choose print newspapers over internet?
- A printed newspaper is a daily snapshot of history. It is an accurate reflection of that moment in time what we are all thinking, doing and experiencing.
- Print newspaper still provide an essential window to the world.
- Print newspapers, far more than content; it is an experience. It gets your finger dirty; it opens your mind to information. But the newspaper compels you to turn each page, see what’s there and consider stories, photo or headline that captured your attention.
- Newspapers remains an interactive part of the “new” media and must continue to evolve in this direction. We hope the print version, however, is never lost. It informs a manner no amount of pixels ever can.
