Favorite Filipino Adobo Recipe
One of a kind favorite Filipino food that traveled across different countries, showing its uniqueness and flavors to different nation.
There are many ways how to cook Adobo, some put a little twist mixing it with other ingredients like vegetables. It could be pork or chicken, some wanted it dry and oily while other wanted it saucy.
It’s time to share my favorite dish, measurements of the ingredients will depend on you and how you wanted it to cook, what’s important is, it has to be made with love.
Ingredients:
- Chicken or Pork
- Garlic
- Onion
- Pepper
- Soy Sauce
- Vinegar
- Sugar
Instructions:
- In a container combine together all of the ingredients except the vinegar. Let it marinade about an hour for a flavorful meat.
- After marinating, in a low heated pan, put the marinated meat and let it boil until juicy and tender. Cover it to have a much tender meat.
- Once it is boiling and tender, pour on the vinegar and do not mix it, just let it boil.
- If the flavor is still not right for your taste you may put on some of the ingredients to adjust the flavor.
- If everything’s all right and done, it maya be served with a garlic/plain rice. And enjoy!
What’s best is the burst of flavors once you’ve taste it, sweet, spicy, sour, and salty all in one dish. That is why many people loved it and the number one favorite food of the Filipinos.
